Organizations¶
Organizations are the account boundary for members, identity providers, provider policy, and webhook ownership.
When To Use This¶
Use organization APIs when your integration manages members, invitations, SSO configuration, or organization-scoped webhooks. Most project and customer workflows only need the organization ID as context. SaaS plan management (checkout, plan changes, billing portal) happens in the Spendware web app; there are no Stripe checkout/portal API endpoints.

Common Tasks¶
- List organizations visible to the current user.
- Read organization memberships and invitations.
- Configure organization identity providers when your account has SSO administration enabled.
Access¶
Organization read access depends on membership. Membership, invitation, SSO, and billing administration usually require organization owner or admin privileges.
