API Reference Overview

Spendware exposes two primary API surfaces:

• Backend API at SPENDWARE_BASE_URL, provided by your Spendware SaaS workspace.
• Webhooks API at SPENDWARE_WEBHOOKS_BASE_URL, provided when webhooks use a separate base URL for your account.

Use the Scalar-rendered OpenAPI references for customer-facing schemas, endpoint details, request examples, and response models. Use the SDK method map when you want to know whether a raw endpoint has a Python or TypeScript SDK method.

OpenAPI Downloads

Each API reference page includes an OpenAPI JSON download link that can be imported into Postman, Insomnia, or another API client. If a hosted reference does not match behavior in your workspace, capture the request ID and contact Spendware support with the endpoint, timestamp, SDK version, and response details.
