Provider Settings¶
Provider settings help you understand which provider and model pricing source Spendware will apply for your organization or project. Spendware-managed provider catalog operations are not part of the normal customer integration path unless they are explicitly enabled for your account.
Example: Read Effective Provider Pricing¶
curl "$SPENDWARE_BASE_URL/api/v1/provider-settings/effective/detail?tenant_id=ORGANIZATION_ID&provider_name=openai&model_name=gpt-4o" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SPENDWARE_API_KEY"
effective = client.providers.get_effective_setting(
tenant_id="ORGANIZATION_ID",
provider_name="openai",
model_name="gpt-4o",
)
const effective = await client.providers.getEffectiveSetting({
tenantId: "ORGANIZATION_ID",
providerName: "openai",
modelName: "gpt-4o",
});
Effective Settings¶
Use effective settings to understand which provider price source Spendware will use:
effective = client.providers.get_effective_setting(
tenant_id="ORGANIZATION_ID",
provider_name="openai",
model_name="gpt-4o",
)
const effective = await client.providers.getEffectiveSetting({
tenantId: "ORGANIZATION_ID",
providerName: "openai",
modelName: "gpt-4o",
});
Customer Overrides¶
Use pricing rules for project-specific commercial overrides. Provider catalog creation, sync, and platform-wide provider administration are Spendware-managed operations unless your account contract exposes them explicitly.
